Shipping Infomration

All KittenSightings package come in discrete white boxes with not indication of what is inside.  We ship in sturdy, tested, cardboard boxes that have held up through hundreds of ships and double as a safe place to store your gear when you're done wearing it. 

 

All packages come with an initial charge depending on where it is being shipped and how quickly you would like it received (read below), and each additional item is simply $1.  All packages come with a tracking number that can be checked on at USPS.com.   

 

If you purchase any product from KittenSightings within the United States,  you may pick from either USPS First Class ($3.50) or USPS Priority ($7.00).  USPS First Class takes anywhere from 3-5 days to arrive once shipped (not including Sundays).   USPS Priority takes 2-3 days once shipped (not including Sundays).

For international shipments, we set up a flat rate of $10 through USPS International First Class.  Depending on your location, it can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks to be delivered.  We do everything within our power to avoid any extra charges you might run into while picking up your package.   

 

We try to ship items 2-3 times a week, but we sometimes can only ship once a week.  If you have not received a notification that your package has been shipped within 2 weeks, please contact us with your purchase information. 

 

If you purchased multiple items and would like them to be shipped together, please email us with the order numbers you would like combined along with the name and method used to purchase the items, and we will refund you the remaining balance.  Please send those emails to shipping@kitten-sightings.com.

Why is International shipping so expensive/cheap?

We have customers all over the world, and routinely ship to places such as Canada, UK, Germany, and Australia.  All countries have different prices, rules, and regulations.  To make it easier for you, we simply set a base amount for international shipping.  We usually end up taking a hit for all non-North American countries, but we believe it is worth it for the simple convenience

The tracking says my item is stuck in Chicago/Germany/Hawaii.  Did it get lost?

No.  The three mentioned cities are international hubs for shipping, and from time to time an item will get stopped for inspection.  Depending on the season, this could cause a delay of 3 days to 4 weeks and in very rare cases 6 weeks.  We apologize about this, and there is nothing we can do.  We have tried, multiple, multiple times.  

If your item is stuck in any of the above mentioned places for more than 6 weeks, please contact us at shipping@kitten-sightings.com. 

What happens if my item get lost? 

Please ensure the mailing address is correct, and that you check any front desk/central location if you live in any apartments.  Unfortunately, once the tracking information lists the item as "delivered," there is nothing else we can do.  

However, if the tracking number clearly shows the item was never delivered after a two weeks for domestic and 6 weeks for international, we will push forward with a claim on the package.  In the mean time, we will remake your item and send you the replacement if possible.  Please understand, some items cannot be remade due to the materials used and our supplies.  In that case we will offer an alternative and/or refund your purchase. 

If we send you a replacement item and you still receive the original item, contact us for a return label for the original item.  If we receive confirmation that both were delivered and we are not able to get back one of the items, you will be charged for both of them.
